GH902TBP-V3.0 is China's first PCIExpress dual-port Gigabit Ethernet BYPASS server network card independently developed by Beijing Guangruntong Technology Development Co., Ltd. based on the Intel I350AM2 solution. The Gigabit Ethernet BYPASS server adapter supports normal, disconnected and bypassed Road mode.
In normal mode, the port is an independent interface. In bypass mode, all data packets received from one port are transferred to the adjacent port. In disconnect mode, the network card analog switch/router cable is disconnected.
In the bypass mode, the connection of the Ethernet port will be disconnected from the system and switched to other ports to form a cross-connect loop between the Ethernet ports. Therefore, in bypass mode, all data packets received from one port will be sent to the adjacent port, and vice versa. This function can avoid the malfunctioning system and provide the longest network running time.
In disconnect mode, the adapter simulates the switch/router cable disconnection. In disconnected mode, the switch/router does not detect the connected network card.
GH902TBP-V3.0 Gigabit dual-port BYPASS server network card includes a WDT (watchdog timer) controller. The adapter's software driver or software application can write commands to the WDT controller on the card. It is an ideal solution for realizing multiple network segments, mission-critical and high-performance network applications on high-performance servers.
GH902TBP-V3.0 is developed on the Intel I350AM2 dual-port Ethernet MAC+PHY (Media Access Controller and Physical Interface Transceiver) controller. It can allow two at the same time in the highest Gigabit Ethernet connection. The port works in full-duplex mode to adapt to high-performance network communication. It can expand bandwidth through link aggregation and save PCIExpress channel resources without occupying bus bandwidth. GH902TBP-V3.0 also supports PCI-SIGSingle-RootI/Ovirtualizationandsharingspecification (SR-IOV) (single root I/O virtualization and sharing specification).
