GRT's FF-1002ELR1-DF&DS-V3.0 series Ethernet adapter is a 10 Gigabit single optical port unidirectional Ethernet adapter based on GRT's localized series of chips and adopts the G710G2 Ethernet controller, which is used in servers, firewalls, network gates and other high-end equipment. The adapter is designed to optimize performance so that system I/O is no longer a bottleneck in high-end network applications. The adapter is fault tolerant through bundled groups, where traffic from a failed port is routed to other members of the group. The adapter has integrated hardware acceleration that performs UDP checksum offloading. Host processing technology offloads the gas pedal, freeing up CPU resources to handle other applications. The adapter is an ideal solution for deploying multiple networks and for deploying critical network applications and environments on high-performance servers.
The GRT G710G2-based Ethernet adapter card from GRT represents a new step in the evolution of 10 Gigabit networking innovation for enterprises and data centers. It takes performance to the next level with industry-leading enhancements for virtualization and Internet Small Computer System Interface (iSCSI) unified networking environments.
