Product Description
The Gigabit RJ45 electrical port Bypass Ethernet bypass server adapter produced by Guangruntong, GH902TBP-V3.0 is a PCI-Express X4 network interface card, and the adapter contains two Gigabit Ethernet ports. The adapter is oriented to the inline network system, which can facilitate the maintenance of network connection when the network fails.
GH902TBP-V3.1 Dual Port Gigabit Ethernet Bypass Server Adapter, supports normal bypass and disconnect mode. In Normal mode, the ports are independent interfaces, while in BYPASS mode, all packets received from one port will be transmitted to the adjacent port, in Disconnect mode, Adapter analog switch/path cable disconnected.
The GH902TBP-V3.1 server adapter can bypass or disconnect its Ethernet port when the host system fails, power is turned off. In Bypass mode, the connection to the Ethernet port is disconnected from the system and switched to another port to create a cross-connect loopback between the Ethernet ports. Therefore, in bypass mode, all packets received from one port are sent to the adjacent port and vice versa. This feature can bypass a failed system and give the network maximum uptime. GH902TBP-V3.1 Dual Port Gigabit PCI Bypass Server Adapter, includes an onboard WDT (Watchdog Timer) controller. The adapter's software driver or software application can write commands to the onboard WDT controller. The adapter's software driver, WDT controller and bypass circuit provide an interface to control and manage the adapter mode.
