The single-channel dual-port fiber 100G Bypass Ethernet bypass server adapter 3.0 is a PCI-Express X16 network interface card with dual fiber (LR) 100G Ethernet ports (including two 100G single-mode 10KM optical modules) on the PCI-E adapter. This adapter is oriented to the inline network system and maintains network connections in case of system failure. The GH1102EBPLR-V3.0 Dual-port fiber 100G Ethernet bypass server adapter supports normal Ethernet mode, bypass mode, and disconnection mode. In normal Ethernet mode, the port is a separate interface, while in bypass (BYPASS) mode, all packets received from one port will be transmitted to an adjacent port, and in disconnected (Disconnect) mode, the adapter analog switch / path cable is disconnected.
The GH1102EBPLR-V3.0 server adapter can bypass or disconnect its Ethernet port after the host system failure, power shutdown, or software request timeout. In bypass (Bypass) mode, the connection of the Ethernet port is disconnected from the system and switched to another port to create a cross-connection loop back between the Ethernet ports. Thus, in the bypass mode, all data received from one port is sent to adjacent ports and vice versa. This feature bypass faulty system and provides the maximum running time for the network. The GH1102EBPLR-V3.0 dual-port fiber 100G PCIE Bypass server adapter includes an onboard WDT (Watchdog Timer) controller. A software driver or software application can write commands to an onboard WDT controller. The adapter software driver, WDT controller, and bypass circuit provide an interface to control and manage the adapter mode.The GH1102EBPLR-V3.0 Dual-port fiber 100G Ethernet bypass server adapter is based on the Intel E810-CAMM 2 Ethernet controller with superior product performance.
