3、Product description
The FF-902EBPSX-V3.0 is a PCI-Express X4 network interface card for the Gigabit multimode SFP optical port Bypass Ethernet bypass server adapter produced by Guangrun Tong. The adapter contains two gigabit Ethernet ports with two gigabit 850nm multimode optical modules. The FF-902EBPSX-V3.0 adapter is designed for in-line network systems and provides a backup link protection mechanism by switching the value bypass to continue communication in case of network link failure.
FF-902EBPSX-V3.0 Dual-port Gigabit Ethernet bypass server adapter, supports normal bypass and disconnect mode.In normal (Normal) mode, the port is an independent interface, while in bypass (BYPASS) mode, all packets received from a port are transmitted to the adjacent port, and in disconnect (Disconnect) mode, the adapter simulates a switch/path cable break.
The FF-902EBPSX-V3.0 server adapter can bypass or disconnect its Ethernet ports in the event of a host system failure or power shutdown.Continue working in bypass (Bypass) mode and connect to another port, so in bypass mode, all packets received from one port are sent to the adjacent port, and vice versa. This feature bypasses the faulty system and provides the longest possible uptime for the network. The FF-902EBPSX-V3.0 dual-port Gigabit PCI Bypass server adapter includes an onboard WDT (watchdog timer) controller.The adapter's software driver or software application can write commands to the onboard WDT controller.The adapter's software driver, WDT controller, and bypass circuit provide an interface for controlling and managing the adapter mode.
